i've had this gun for a few years but only now starting to research its history. any help would be much appreciated. details: ideal grade, engraving,london steel 28 inch barrel, 16 gauge, double trigger, hammerless, extractor, l.c smith right barrel, hunter arms left barrel, serial #FWE 51543. im guessing a 46-50 mfg date but not sure. plan on sending off for the letter of history i read about earlier but until then any info would be wonderful. pics to come soon b/c it has some custom work on the stock. thanks, great forum.
