    Pyrodex Shotshells Archived Message

I was talking to the LC Man "Walt S." today. He recommended using pyrodex shotshells instead of blackpowder shells. Said that I could shoot 10 gauge pyrodex shells all day long. I assume he recommended this kind of powder since it is not as corrosive as black powder. Does anyone know a manufacturer of these shells ? 2 and 7/8 or 3 inch ? Also I'm still thinking about the 12 gauge inserts Jent talked to me about --- He was also very helpful.

Walt told me of a funny story where he shot a 10 gauge LC Smith as a 10 year old boy. He said his mistake was he had his fingers on both triggers at the same time. Was leaned up against a tree when both barrels went off and found himself on his back wondering what the hell had happened. Said his shoulder hurt for a month --- very very funny --- this guy's a classic.
