Master LC Gun Smith "Freddie Brunner"Archived Message

I just had the good fortune to meet Freddie Brunner this am up in Escondido --- I dropped off an LC for some work --- I saw his gun works ! He came highly regarded via Rev/Doc/Drew. We'll ----- are my first impressions:
- He's a Master --- greeted me like a blacksmith --- even donning his apron ! - He started as an apprenctice in 1946 --- Germany ! - You should have seen all the "LC's" he's working on --- breath taking --- the patina on the guns --- wow --- a number of beaut's - Complete machine shop - All kind of tools --- most very old - He is very kind and knowledgeable
I cannot say enough about this guy, myself being an Design Engineer having a Master's Degree and 38 years experience --- I've known many machinists but none like Freddie --- I was blown away ---- I know my "Elsie" is in good hands ---
