Well that would be my assumption. You might want to look and compare your 3 inch stamp with the ones published/printed in the books to see if it was factory or aftermarket. Further I'd also look at the forend lug to make sure it was the heavy/re-inforced one. Finally remember the wood is the weak link in this equation. Best, Dr. BILL
