Mr.Funk. Perfect example of how hard it is to identify the year of mfg. on Smith guns. Questions. (1) Is your gun a hammer or hammerless ? (2) Does it have extractors or auto-ejectors ? (3) What gauge is it ? (4) Does it have Damascus or fluid steel barrels and finally (5) do you see any numbers like a 2, 3, 4, etc. anywhere around the serial number on the frame watertable or forend iron ? Let us know so we can try and help you identify the gun and approx. year of Mfg. Thanks, John Houchins
