Serial Number/Damascus Barrel Archived Message Posted by Stuart on May 12, 2007, 10:22 am I recently aquired a LC Smith shot gun. The serial numer is in the high 113,000 almost 114,000 range. But according to the records this gun can be either 1902 or 1928. I don't know which. I think it is a field version, has a rubber kick plate and a Damascus barrel. Also would it be safe to shoot -- with the Damascus barrel ?
