I have always been looking for a side by side. I came across a LC Smith today at an antique store. The gun was in pretty good shape. I would like to know what they are worth, and what to look for to determine this. It looked to be a 16 or 20 gauge. Where do I look for the serial number on this gun? It was in a glass case, but I want to go back and purchase it, but want to know what I am getting into. Any help would be great! Thanks- Mike
