I recently purchased an LC Smith Ideal grade 12gauge 2 3/4 chamber. I would like to turkey hunt with it but I don't want to use to heavy of a load and damage the gun. It is in great shape, solid and tight as a new shotgun, manufactured in 1949. Any recommendations on maximum loads would be appreciated.
