Lance, I would ask them also about the serial number. I don't know exactly when 2 3/4" chambers were added to 16 ga. I do know that up until at least 1939 they were still 2 9/16", and that was also the first year that the raised rib (Single Sighting Plane) was added at a $5.00 option. After 1939 it was standard. It's a shame about the forend, but they are famous for coming loose and being lost. As far as the recoil pad, looks like a Pachmayer White Line, could be factory. Also looks like it has some case color left. As far as the $800.00 I would see if they would go lower because of the issues. IMO I'm sure you will get responses on all items listed.
