I just bought a LC Smith 20 gauge Specialty grade. According to the serial number, it was produced in 1928. My wife's Grandfather gave me a gun exactly like it 25 years ago, but it was stolen about 20 years ago and I have always wanted to replace it.
I got my gun through the Fine Gun Room at Bass Pro Shops. When I picked it up it was in three pieces. I hate to admit this...but I can't remember how to assemble the gun. None of the guys at my local Bass Pro Shops in Atlanta could do it either. I seem to remember a "trick", but I can't remember the details. Can anyone help me?
