Carl, congratulations of your new "elsie". Your guns serial number dates it to 1915, and with the London Steel barrels, I believe it to be an Ideal Grade. As far as what to shoot in it, I would only shoot low pressure shells in it, nothing higher than around 7,800 psi. There are factory 1 oz. loads that are listed as low velocity and would be fine for it. Hope you will join the L.C.S.C.A.
