Not the right butt plate either. The screws seemed ok on this side. The tubes are clearly "Twist" and they are pitted, but..not hopeless. No dents or other problems noted, other than that hideous solder job on the sling swivel. They never would take off the trigger lock... and even after identifying that this is a pre-1898 gun for them, this operation still requires a background check and a 3-day wait. Non-thinking corporate employees are all the rage these days. This is probably the lightest and most petite Smith gun I've ever handled.
