Very early Fulton Quality 1 and Quality 2 gun differences

I weighed & measured this circa-1890 Fulton Quality 2 gun down at MW Reynolds yesterday. Contrary to previous speculation here, the barrels are exactly at 30-inches and show no evidence of ever having been cut or altered in any way. They are presently choked at .022 and .027 so...modified and improved modified. The Best Quality 3-bar (Dr. Drew?) Damascus tubeset weighs 4lbs.5 ounces and the thinnest spot we could find was still .035 thousands (at 23-inches from the breech on the left tube) From .045 to .040 consecutively was the average range of wall-thicknesses from the breech to the muzzle. So...no fear about it's use, eh?
The gun weighs 7lbs13.5 ounces assembled. LOP is 14 3/8 inches over the original "double dog" buttplate, drop @ comb is 1 7/8 inches and drop @ heel is 3 1/16 inches, with perhaps a slight cast-off of 1/8 inch. From Kodiak, Alaska (?) this Quality 2 gun has clearly been shot much-more than my 1891 Quality 1 gun and is sorely in need of a thorough strip-down and cleaning (it's still quite functional but it's a bit "sticky" inside). After Whittington in late April, it'll be off to my "secret weapon" in Arizona for the same treatment that the 1891 gun just received.
