This gun was shipped February 11, 1929 to what I believe was P. Von Franzite. Unfortunately it is not possible to make out the last few letters of the last name in the records.
Some research on line points to the last name of Franzite who operated Sports Inc. in Chicago who was a sporting goods dealer and sold LCSmith shotguns.
Interesting is the fact that this gun was shipped 3 days before the St. valentine's massacre.
Even more interesting was Peter Von Franzite, or Sometimes noted as Frantizius was a Chicago business man and alleged exclusive arms dealer to the Chicago underworld and supplied the Tommy guns documented to be used during the gangland murders.
I hope to do more research and would welcome information from others.
