Steve, My Pigeon "squab" is a number matching gun. The "P" stamp is behind the fore-arm lug, and on the left side of the receiver under the lock plate. The hammer, bridle and trigger lever are all jeweled. The only other metal work on the gun are the breech balls,they are engraved with a fleur de lea or spear point similar to a #5 Syracuse pattern. She is an extractor gun and has a straight grip stock. The fore-arm has the bakalite pointer head.She also has 30 inch Crown barrels and early joint check. Probably the best part is I bought it from Cabelas in Ky, and they had no idea what it was.It is probably my most favorite pheasant gun, a real shooter.Thanks MY
