I didn't see any evidence of a reinforcing bolt for the beavertail; show us a photo of the under side of the forearm and we can tell you if the beavertail is factory or after-market. Original Smith beavertail irons have been lengthened about 1/4 inch to receive a reinforcing bolt; early BT fore arms show the head of the bolt exposed at the forend tip, later BT fore arms have the bolt concealed inside the forearm wood. That said, the gun does appear to have been restored. As to gold plated triggers; that's a feature very seldom seen on Smith shotguns, although it was possible on special order.
