Hello Drew, appreciate the sentiment and support. But things happen!! I'm a 16 gauge fan and now that I've seen and briefly used an LC with a BT fore end a converted fan. While this particular gun isn't top shelf she has character and grace and is definitely worth restoration. As for the chambers they are 2 9/16. I did take that into consideration before taking her into the field. I trimmed hulls to the correct length and used a reduced charge. I tested them in a Fulton also with 2 9/16 chambers. After I collected myself I took time to inspect the break. There two dowels inserted and bound with ordinary white glue. Lastly, I'm looking forward to introducing her to the LCSCA at some gathering next year. And making a few new friends with whom to share lies. John from Omaha
