Re: hunter arms hunter special 410 s x s
While I am not sure, I suspect that all of the .410 Hunter Specials had 3-inch chambers. A 1936 Hunter Arms engineering drawing shows the chambers of .410 L.C. Smith shotguns to be 3 inches in length, and the Hunter Special was introduced in 1937. I have not seen the option of 2.5- or 3-inch chambers in any of the catalogs or other advertising. Has anyone found a .410 Hunter Special with 2.5-inch chambers?
