In no time he removed a stubborn well fit side plate, popped out a pin that was deformed from the hammer strike to the point it would not retract, put a new pin in, tested it, popped the plate back in and said go shoot it. Well I did and it worked perfect and he would not take a quarter from me, he did take a little "aiming oil"
later in the day. Now here's a guy who just arrived and surely had a 1,000 fun things on his mind to do but he never once gave it a second thought to helping me out. Talk about a nice gesture. For what it's worth you got a little reward with an LC victory in that event. Thank You kindly John, you are a gentleman and a scholar !!
