Mike,what gauge gun are you looking at ? I would double check your build date.I would also question what type of gauge the shop used to check it.I have found some guns to have chambers that miced out to be a few thousands on the small side when checked against the specs.The chambers are tapered,so being a little undersized can cause a false reading on even a good chamber gauge.I like to use a pin gauge from Brownels or make my own.I would not trust most of the gauges out there for this purpose if you want a good reading.Charlie.
