I know this is an old conversation, but I have a gun with the exact profile and patent date. Only mine (passed down from a grandfather) doesn't say "The Hunter". It reads Keystone Keystone Fire Arms CO Philadelphia (PA). The PA is mostly worn off. I read companies would stamp most anything requested by sellers on the side. But the metal on mine otherwise is EXACTLY like yours. I'm curious if you learned any more about your firearm? Sadly my lever to break the breech is missing.
