We had 29 vintage shooters attend Pastor Charlies Vintage Skeet and Trap Shoot at York and Adams on Saturday, July 21st. It was raining lightly when we got started in the morning but after 10:00 a.m. the weather was just perfect for shooting clays. The ladies at Y and A prepared a wonderful lunch for us. We had our choice of pulled pork, burgers or hot dogs along with several side dishes. Pastor Charlie won the High Overall Trophy this year with a score of 91 out of 101. Dean Breeden was runner up with an 88 out of 101. The third best score, 83 out of 101, was shot by JD Shank. Pastor Charlie and Dean Breeden both shot a 47 out of 50 at Trap so we had a shoot off for the bragging rights. Pastor Charlie won the shoot off with a perfect score. Dean dropped one target in the Trap shoot off. Pastor Charlie shot at 44 out of 51 at Skeet. Jent shot a 42 out of 51 at Skeet and JD and Dean both shot a 41 out of 51 at Skeet. Max Hesselbein shot a respectable 40 out of 51 at Skeet. The most important goal of this shoot was to have fun and we did !
