Larry, thanks for the information. Your gun was made in 1917 and The F grade was the lowest grade hammer gun made.
At around this time, Royal Steel barrels are all that was offered, but Damascus barrels could be special ordered.
Condition is everything as to value, the best thing to do is look at Internet auctions that have guns like yours and see what they sell for. Don't go by what most are asking, as some have been there a long time.
