I am in th 90245, El Segundo, CA right near LAX.
I just picked up and brought home my first Elsie, pictured. One of my Grandads had one that an Uncle let get stolen & My dad has one too.
By the way this is a field grade with the Ebony tip and has working ejectors. Tested with snap caps - it appears to fire/function properly, it ejects the fired shell properly, returns to SAFE upon opening etc.
It is just in need of cleaning and re-bluing, and maybe re staining the stock. Perhaps a correct and proper butte plate.
any comments welcomed. I hope I didn't over pay for it and I don't think I did.
