Tom, thanks for catching that. It would be a bar action lock. The back action lock started in 1899 at serial number either 73000 or 73001.
The closest I have to bar action lock is 72926, also made in 1899.
Unfortunately the records do not show a manufacturing or ship date, so very hard to know exactly when the one stopped and the other started.
