Based on the serial numbers on the frame,barrels and trigger guard (FWS 15424 ) my Ideal was manuf in 1947. It is in great condition -all original with 70% CC..except the forearm iron has serial number 27494 and "I". The forearm is a perfect match to the butt and a perfect fit to the gun. Is it possible that this was a factory repair/replacement and are there any records of such repairs?? Thanks Randy
