Thanks to all who gave me advice and information about the 16ga Smith. I bought the gun Monday evening. I finally got around to cleaning the thick coat of old grease off the metal parts today.
Wow, these guns are nice. It looks like it just came off the rack. The gun's functions are all tight and stiff to work.
A little cleaning around the selector slide loosened it up, it now works great.
The gun weighs 6lbs. 10 oz., has short chambers, and is choked .013/.022.
If I'm not boring everyone already I can try to post a few pics.
