Bead sight question

In preparation for rust bluing my barrels, I tried to get the bead sight off my gun and broke it off-I was going to replace it anyway becuase it was a beat up. It turns out it is a press fit brass bead. My question is how do you remove a press fit brass bead ? The "bead" itself is now gone with just the base stuck in the rib. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Vince
