Needing info on first L C Smith Purchace

I just purchased a 10 gage L.C. Smith double barrel at a garage sale for $200. I was told it was made in 1905, however I do not believe this to be true. The serial # is 13138, followed by an E. On top of the barrel it says a location of Syracuse, NY. The top of the other barrel says
Damascus Steel Barrels. Everything moves smoothly with no slop. All metal is in great condition except for tarnishing. The stock has a few nicks and a few hairline cracks. I am wanting to know as much info about this gun as I can get. I am also thinking of restoring it if it is a wise decision. I
