But you can't lube the necessary parts without taking the locks off, which I'd suggest you let this gentleman handle (maybe he'd let you watch) along with a good check and clean; and possibly glasbed the head of the stock, open the chokes, and lengthen the chambers if it's a 'shooter' and not a collector quality gun:
