I have a patent 1906 model 10 #200825. appears to have a replacment barrel?? obviously great work and restampred the serial without the U
as on the frame. the barrel has open ports behind the full choke. is this for recoil supression to stay on target? seems like a battle shotgun. too high serial number for the war or military use? My father born in 1901 my brother whom gave it 1927. help?
