Bob, If you you have upgraded to IE 8 as Jim alluded to, the fix should be easy. In IE, Go to the top bar...on the center right are three icons, a broken page icon, a refresh icon, and and x (stop). Click on the broken page icon which is actually a compatibility view toggle. It will return your settings for the LCSCA site to your older browsers settings...your categories will mysteriously reappear. Worked for me. This feature is site specific so if you have problems with other sites give it a try for that site.
