I just completed your research letter and will mail it tomorrow. I found two interesting things during the search. First, the notation "very close shooter" was written by this entry. I have never seen that comment before in the records. Second, the weight at the factory was 9 pounds. That must mean that the lead was added at the factory. The other shotguns on the page where your's was listed weighed from 7 1/4 to 8 pounds.
