Inherited a side by side from my father, passed to him from his father. Appears to have an actual "date stamp" under the receiver but the serial number seems to match a much younger gun. The right barrel says "ARMOR STEEL" and the left "HUNTER ARMS CO.MAKERS. FULTON,N.Y". Puncuation and spaces are as shown. The serial # is 101532 with "00" slightly offset to the left under the "15" portion. "D MAR29,83" is also engraved under the receiver with "LY.13,86" below it. AND, below that "C (T?) 5,8(6or8). The parentheses are mine and denote a single character which I can't exactly determine. I would very much enjoy help decyphering this confusing set of data. Thanks.
