Well...I'm now an Elsie owner and couldn't be happier.
I recently acquired a 16ga FW made in 1949 (one of the last 10,000 made befor the factory shut-down according to the serial #).
This pretty thing is MINT...nod dings, bright blueing and the case colors are perfect. I really look forward to taking it to the field.
I'm glad your LC Collectors Assn page was on the net as it really provided some needed info as I was thinking about getting the gun.
I'll be joining soon!
