Steven, your gun is a Quality 2, at the time it was the lowest grade in the hammerless lineup.
A very nice gun to own, the Syracuse guns to many were the finest L.C.s made and I have to agree. The butt plate on yours was common, be careful how you put it down and not break it, you can get a new replacement but won't be like the original.
The ebony forend piece missing, you can get a replacement for it, I just can't think of them right now.
Yours has the first style joint check.
