The method for deciding the team winner for the contest January 23, 2010: Each team is permitted 6 primary lifters and 6 alternate lifters. Only the 6 primary lifters listed will score points. The team list must be turned in 10 days before the contest and the team entry fee of $50 must be paid. The primary 6 lifters will score points. If for some reason a primary lifter can not compete, an alternate lifter can be selected from the alternate list. In the event of a tie between two teams the Reshel formula will be used to decide the winning team from the primary list.

I like this format. I feel this same tie breaker should be implimented for all APC contest in which the meet promoter chooses to include a team competition. I will be happy to propose this as a rule at the AGM Meetings at this years Nationals. As we discussed last year without resolving the issue, will there be seperate team divisions for the bench press championships and powerlifting championships at this years National in Athen GA?
