I have listed below a few events happening the weekend of the APC Nationals in Norfolk ,VA. Also for those interest in a beach, Virginia Beach is only a 15-20 minute drive from Norfolk.

Thanks Stella, with you as a spokesperson Virginia Beach can save some money on advertising. I would like to see the tall ships.

You are welcome, I just wanted to give everyone and Idea of other things happening in the area while they are here. Being the summer time,I thought people may be interested in staying longer for the Beach or at least visit the festivals on that weekend. I know when I travel to compete I like to relax after I am done. Just tying to help out anyway I can.
