The answer to your question can be a little confusing but I will do my best to clarify.
The APC recognizes the APC records found on our Web site as our National Records. Just last year the APC became the affiliate for the WUAP. Before the APC became the affiliate, there was a number of years where there was not an USA affilate to the WUAP. I believe (and dont take this as BiBle) the UAP was the American affilate until 2006. The American Records that the WUAP recognizes are those records or any record set at or after the 2008 WUAP Worlds.
This is why you may notice APC records can be higher than WUAP World Records. As time goes by this will work itself out I am sure. Myself or LB will be submitting the results from the APC Nationals this weekend to the WUAP.
