I, Greg Gordon, concur with Steve on everything he mentioned about Worlds. My only regret is that more Americans did not attend the show.
I also, would like to personally invite everyone to the 2009 Nationals in downtown Peoira, IL. I feel that we have booked one of the finest venues in Peoria. We will be providing a full bar with sports drinks and food each day of the contest.
The contest site is located at the contest hotel (Mark Twain) with a couple of restaurants in hotel and several more within walking distance of the site.
Local Sites: Big Al’s gentlemen’s club, Hooters, Old Chicago, Joe’s Crab Shack, Sully’s Bar and Grill, and many more. A detailed list will be available for all contestants.
Steve and I hope to see everyone there.
