High gas prices

Recently I bought gas in Hamburg Germany. One litre cost 1.30 euro, 4 litre = 1.0579 US gallon, = 5.56 euro. The conversion rate at the time was 1.40 US to 1 euro = $7.78 for 1.0579 gal of gas. I drove from Hamburg to Schleswig, 120 km in less than 1 hour. Average speed 140km, mostly 160km per hour.
