In the Photos from the 1970's Freeport Speedway,NY there is a picture of a #43 blue and red coupe. Unless I,m badly mistaken that's my old car. It was originally Kevin Kiellor's. It was a 37 Ply coupe and I bought it from him. I bought it from him and put a 426 Hemi in
it. Rich Samu at CM Auto Body painted it to look like a Petty car. If you can read the writing on the roof of the car it should say Ricky. The only other person that I know who ever drove the car was
Wayne Anderson. At Freeport something had happened to his car and he was "running for points" so he "borrowed" my car and put some of his tires on the car and ran 'till a distributer problem sidelined him.If you can see the driver any better than I can and he has a red beard its me.
Last I knew, Marty Himes had the car. I took the drive train out and after sitting a few years I gave the car to him.
