That's what I do here in DFW when it's a club I'm not very familiar with. I can relate to staying safe. What I try to do (regardless of what type of neighborhood it is cause you never know) is get to the clubs early (in the summer before dark), get a parking place as close to the door as possible, wait till I see a few couples walking in and walk in right behind them, and I always make sure I know where security is, and when I leave. I try to walk out with groups of people.

I don't know but I'm guessing that since they played Desperados recently that this club is a Norteņo one. If that's the case, there are some people who will say that about any Norteņo club.
