I have just recently begun training for powerlifting and it has become part of my life! I will be competing in my 2nd meet next month and looking forward to it. All 3 of my lifts has gotten alot better especially the deadlift. I should increase my total between 100-125 pounds all while dropping a little bodyweight. However, my bench is the missing link! It has gotten somewhat better but nowhere near where it needs to be. I know it has alot to do with technique and form and I'm working hard to fix it. I can do heavy dumbell presses and can actually keep up with my training partner but when it comes to the barbell he out benches me 50-60 pounds. Anyone else have this problem? Any advice is greatly apperciated! Thanks!
