I hate it when I think a lift is going up, and it's taken. I understand both sides of the fence. That being said, after this past weekend I understand the need for safety. I guess it never hit home before. With the safety rails, worst case scenario is it lands on the gut. Not going to hit the throat or face. That's why I am a firm believer in them.
