Anyone who is new to NASA can still participate in the Pro Events if they join and start competing. Every Pro must have an established performance record in NASA to be invited. Please spread the word.
Also, there are no required qualifiers. But those lifters who have the best performances for the year in NASA will go at the top of the list of those being invited.

: Hot Off The Press-
:
: The details of the NASA Pro Championships
: next fall will be announced in January. The
: meet will be by Invitation only.
:
: It looks like there will be light and heavy
: classes. Possibly 10-15 in each division
: light and heavy. The break will be decided
: at a later date. We have not decided which
: lifts will be contested but we are looking
: at all 4. The current payout and meet
: structure will be completely restructured.
:
: We will ask for all lifters who want to be
: invited to this meet to submit a request to
: be ranked. Once we receive all of the
: requests we will rank these lifters. There
: will be a non-refundable fee to be ranked.
: Once ranked and the top 10-15 are invited we
: will move lifters up a spot if an invitation
: is either declined or refused. If a lifter
: does not show who has accepted the
: invitation and we are within 6 weeks of the
: competition that lifter will be omitted from
: any and all future Pro Events. We do not
: want any no shows involved in this meet.
:
: This meet will be open to any NASA lifter
: who has competed in the past 12 months,
: starting this October, in any event within
: NASA who is in good standing with NASA. By
: using this method we can get the finest
: lifters in each and every lift competing. No
: lifter who has been rejected by NASA in the
: past will be eligible for this event.
:
: Prize money will be decided at a later date.
:
: The meet will be either Unequipped or Power
: Sports.
:
: This is all we can share at this time and
: even this information is subject to change.
