Tom,
LOL, I'm laughing with you as I feel your pain. Being 6'1" and I use to weigh 320, now down to 285, I had a similar experience at Sea WOrld in Orlando. They had a new coaster and my wife wanted to ride it (she is a buck twenty soaking wet with rocks in her pockets). I reluctantly said yes (not a fan of hieghts). As we get into the seats, the overhead harness rests on my chest but won't latch. Scary thing is, I was the only who knew it and they were about to start the ride. I yelled at one of the attendants and instead of letting me out he pushed on it until it latched. So the ride starts, I am scared out of my wits and can't breathe. That ride couldn't end fast enough.

: I am at Cedar Point with my son. A day of
: roller coasters, walking like I enjoy
: cardio, and a night at the water park has me
: tired. I have to comment on these stupid
: roller coasters. My son and I waited for
: over an hour for Maverick and when we got up
: there my large body would not fit. We had
: to walk the trail of shame while the other
: folks got to ride. I don't like these
: coasters, but the midget does. They have
: height checks at the start of the line, why
: not a sample seat to see if us plus sized
: people, are going to fit? They have fried
: everything. They let me feed at the park
: like I am a caged elephant, but they won't
: make the rides so that a SHW can fit. I
: need a lawyer. Ha.
