I have never posted here before but I am looking for a good board other than espn.com. With TO being gone from the eagles I definatley think that we still have a great shot at going to the super bowl....but I am still worried about who the hawks are going to keep next year. Hasselbeck, Alexander, and Lucas are all fee agents. Me personally I like our defense, even though they have been beat when it counts, they are still young and have tons of talent. Personally I think we HAVE to keep Lucas...he was robbed of his 7th pick of the year, and with him, Trufant (who i think is one of, if not the best corner in the NFC), Hamlin, and (The rookie who everyone second guessed moving to safety) Boulware, I think we have the building blocks of having a great defense. So it comes down to Alexander and Hasselbeck . Shaun has had a great year THIS year, but has been inconsistant in the past, but when in the red zone has always been clutch. Matt on the other hand has had 1 1/2 good seasons. Personally I would like to keep Alexander and give Seneca Wallace a shot (who was very impressive in preseason and practice), or see if we can pick up someone like Drew Breese. Defense wins championships and I think keeping Lucas is a must! Even though Bobby Taylor hasnt played much this year, I think it is obious that him and Trufant have learned a lot from him and they are both still very young. Please respond with your comments.
