Posts 2322 "If Hitler Won the War" In 1940 Germany smashs the remaining allied forces at dunkirk, and the Germans attack Britsh fighter production rather then it population in the battle of Britain. The war in the west is over late in 1941. In the mean time Japan has attacked the U.S.A at Pearl Harbor, and Germany has declared war on the U.S, and Russia. With its new oil and production facilities in the Middle East, and GB secure. Germany kicks the door in on Russia and takes Moscow by 43. The Russian cabinet flees across the Urals. Germany stops its invasion in eastern Russia and consolidates its gains. With Germanys help the USA and Japan engage in a protractive war. China falls in 1944. Nuclear weapons are used on Japans fleets in 1945 with U.S planes unable to reach the mainland. However the Japanese press on despite the damage to its military might. With no oil reserves left to call on and its suppiority on the sea begining to faulter. The axis powers force the U.S to the negotiating tables on favorable terms in 1946. With atom bombs at there side the U.S keeps indepences for itself in large part, but loses its over seas possessions. From this point in time what do you guys think the world be like? One thing is for sure there be no Jews alive in Asia or Europe. I'd think you also see a kinda cold war like scramble to install fascist goverments in Africa, and South America. Still there are many interesting questions. Would there be war Crimes trials for the U.S men who droped the A-bombs on Japan? Would the axis powers stop at Europe and Asia? Would the two superpowers in German and Japan fight? What would happen to Italy in all this? What are some of your ideas?
What do you think the world would be like today? Here is the timeline.
