I would hope this article isn't going to portray the buying and selling of organs as a true option, but the ignorance of people does astound me from time to time. I agree whole-hearedly with Donald...use your "power" (and I use that term loosely) for good! Promote organ donation and the current UNOS system in place, because it is fair and equitable. I recognize that black market kidney sales are a common thing in India, but they are so dangerous! There are thousands of rules and regulations and bylaws within organ procurement--and there are solid reasons for every one of them.
If you're writing about the desperation of people that are ill and financially strapped, that's despicable. If that's the kind of stuff that GLAMOUR would seriously consider printing, I would never buy it again, and I'm sure the Organ Procurement Transplant Network, United Network for Organ Sharing, and all the other governing bodies of transplant would have to do something about it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, Maridel---don't write this kind of crap! People will get the idea in their heads that this is an option, and you're only going to end up giving false hope to some people and possibly killing others.
